Ragnarok Online Dev Buys Grasshopper Manufacture Jan 30th 2013, 18:55 Ragnarok Online developer GungHo Online Entertainment has acquired Grasshopper Manufacture Inc, of Killer7 and Lollipop Chainsaw fame. Founder SUDA51 and his team will continue to operate under the Grasshopper Manufacture name and all projects already in development will continue as planned, both in regards to development and publishing agreements. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but SUDA51 seems optimistic about the acquisition, saying that "by joining GungHo Online Entertainment, we are aligning ourselves with a strong, established publishing force that will support our vision to further create inspired new games that appeal players across the world." Grasshopper Manufacture is the fourth studio to be acquired by GungHo since 2005, with the others publishing titles under the United States GungHo entity, GungHo Online Entertainment America.
