Even before the announcement of the Xbox One in May, Microsoft's restrictive policies on used games and online DRM raised strong opposition from many consumers. Today, Microsoft dropped a bombshell announcement, stating that it will reverse these policies and allow free trading of game discs and require only a one-time online setup when you first plug in your console.
