The kid gloves have come off, although in a series as consistently grisly as Locke and Key, it's hard to say they were ever on. The living shadows have always been pretty cool, but hardly truly scary, so artist Gabriel Rodriguez provides the perfect cure for that with a shockingly violent display. Tyler and Kinsey couldn't be in a worse spot right now -- one bleeding out from a gunshot wound and the other trapped in the cave full of demons -- which is precisely why this is the best issue of Locke and Key to come out of this Omega arc.
