Game of Thrones Producers Talk Cutting Characters Jun 10th 2013, 15:16 With Game of Thrones' Season 3 ending last night, viewers finally felt the void left by the deaths of major characters, and saw the newly open spaces get filled by other characters who've now stepped in from the sidelines. IGN's Review of the Game of Thrones Season 3 Finale! Over at EW.com, executive producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff gave a post-finale interview, offering up some of their concerns about moving forward with the series while author George R. R. Martin is still working on finishing the final two books, as well as their plans for adapting the very tricky, audience-unfriendly fourth and fifth books.
