If nothing else can be said about the current arc of Uncanny X-Men, at least let it be said that Brian Michael Bendis has found the perfect collaborator in the form of Frazer Irving. It's difficult to imagine a creator better suited to bringing the nightmarish landscape of Limbo to life. Irving's twisted character designs and surreal landscapes immediately set these issues apart from just about every other Marvel book on the stands. His use of color not only captures the feel of Limbo, it effectively contrasts the scenes of Cyclops and his X-men with those of Maria Hill and the men and women of S.H.I.E.L.D.
