Who knew that after all this time the Turtles had only been playing on Easy Mode? Following a super breezy skirmish with yet another Foot posse ("Hey, coins!"), it was time to kick things up a notch -- at least according to Master Splinter, who deemed his sons too complacent with their victories.
At this point in Season 1, we've seen a fair number of shakeups in Nickelodeon's TMNT, but none quite as exciting as having the boys all switch weapons for a spell. The visual of Michelangelo wielding Leonardo's katanas and Donatello fumbling with Raphael's sai were among some of the more entertaining spectacles in this week's episode. (Also amusing was Mikey's thought that, by having Leo's swords, he was somehow the team's designated leader.)
