The residents of Coral City are mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore. That's the driving force behind Gail Simone and Freddie William II's timely new series The Movement. In the wake of real world populist outrage aimed at Wall Street and big city police departments, The Movement takes aim at broken systems and the people who perpetuate them.

The Movement's debut issue opens with a bit of crowd-sourced vigilantism as two crooked cops get their comeuppance. A group of streetwise saviors donning masks reminiscent of the Court of the Owls take justice into their own hands when the justice system fails them. The stretch of Coral City between 10th and 20th street is particularly troubled and it's there where the costumed heroes of The Movement make their stand.
