Iron Man 3: Second Biggest Debut of All Time May 5th 2013, 20:08 Marvel's box office streak continues. Iron Man 3 had the second biggest domestic opening of all time ($175.3 million), second only to Marvel's The Avengers (which bowed last summer with $207.4 million). The Shane Black-directed sequel also received an "A" CinemaScore, according to THR. Internationally, Iron Man 3 has made $504.8 million for a global total of $680.1 million, pushing Disney past the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office.
