Hannibal continued to offer a fascinating and involving world this week, with an episode that had a lot of influence from The Silence of the Lambs.
When I spoke to Bryan Fuller at the start of the season, he lamented that MGM has the rights to not only Clarice Starling but any other character introduced specifically in Silence of the Lambs. "Entrée" found Fuller still able to evoke Silence in many ways though, as we learned that Clarice Starling was not the first young, smart, female FBI trainee Jack Crawford recruited to help him.
