David Slade to Direct Syfy's Helix May 23rd 2013, 23:40 David Slade (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, 30 Days of Night) is set to direct the premiere episode of Helix, Syfy's new drama from Battlestar Galactica producer Ronald D. Moore, Deadline reports. Slade recently directed the pilot episode for Hannibal, setting the tone for that series.
