Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
After the infuriating death of Crixus at the hands of Tiberius two weeks ago it's been a long wait to see how justice would finally be served. With Caesar, Kore, Naevia and Spartacus himself all wanting a piece of the boy wonder, his days were undoubtedly numbered. I think there is going to be some debate as to whether Tiberius' end in "The Dead and the Dying" is satisfying considering the crimes he has committed, but as a whole, the episode does deliver some great moments and plenty of classic gladiatorial action that would make Crixus proud.
The discovery that Crixus had fallen didn't elicit the shock and emotional outburst that I was expecting from Spartacus. He sat, along with Gannicus, while Naevia recounted the events of Crixus' final moments. If anything, that's most likely a testament to the amount of death Spartacus has seen over the years. No outreached hands to the heavens while screaming "No!" Just calm fury, which is what Spartacus excels at.
