Report: Easier Region-Switching Coming to Xbox Live

Microsoft is supposedly working on a new web-based tool that will allow you to migrate your Xbox Live account to a new region with just a few clicks.

According to the report by Neowin, which is yet to be confirmed by Microsoft, the new service is currently in testing but will soon be set live.

Testers have reported that they are allowed to migrate their accounts to a new region once every three months, and doing so transfers their gamer tags, achievements, MS points and time left on their Gold subscriptions without a hitch. Not everything will transfer across though; services that are region locked, such as Sky TV in the UK, won't be moved and nor will Xbox Music passes.
