Windows 8 Upgrade Discount Ends Today Jan 31st 2013, 19:35 If you're still on the fence about Windows 8, today's the last day to grab a $40 upgrade. Starting tomorrow, upgrading to Windows 8 from Windows 7, Vista, or XP will put a significantly bigger hurt on the old wallet. The standard price for a Windows 8 upgrade after February 1 shoots all the way up to $119.99, and Windows 8 Pro will set you back $199.99.
