Microsoft Office 365 is Live, Office 2013 is DVD-free Jan 29th 2013, 20:39 Today, Microsoft launched the latest iteration of its popular productivity suite, and whether you're interested in a subscription or boxed copy, Office has gone completely digital. Office 365 is Microsoft's push to the cloud, offering subscription-based downloads in either monthly or yearly price packages. A one-year subscription of $99.99 will allow you to download Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, and Access on up to five different PC or Mac computers. Microsoft will also throw in 20GB of online storage via SkyDrive, and 60 minutes of calls through its Skype service. A month-to-month plan is also available for $9.99.
