In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actor and comedian Ricky Gervais announced plans to give his most famous character, The Office's David Brent, his own movie.
Gervais recently revived the hilariously clueless Brent in a comic relief special and a series of YouTube videos, Learn Guitar With David Brent, which are apparently mere first steps in Brent's triumphant return. The actor has plans to sign a record deal for Brent, followed by a series of charity concerts where he performs as the character, and finally the aforementioned movie, which will be about Brent trying to "make it in the music industry." It was of course, Brent's dream all along.
