X-Files creator Chris Carter is set to produce The After, his first pilot in ten years for Amazon Studios, Deadline reports. Carter wrote and will direct what is described as a thriller which takes place at the moment of the apocalypse.
Amazon has several more pilots in development and hopes to launch their first hour-long drama. They have also picked up Betas, Alpha House and three kids shows from last year's batch.
