Sony's 'Grand Theft Auto V on PS4' Tweet Was a Mistake Aug 28th 2013, 00:22, by Chris Pereira Despite a tweet sent out by Sony suggesting otherwise, Grand Theft Auto V is not coming to PlayStation 4. Earlier today, the Sony UK Twitter account replied to a fan talking about his excitement for Grand Theft Auto V. The tweet read in part, "GTA V is going to be amazing, especially on the PS4!" It also retweeted a message from that same fan which states the game will be available on PS4. As the game has only been confirmed for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, this raised some eyebrows. As it turns out, this was all a simple mistake on the part of those running the Twitter account. A follow-up tweet sent out two hours later stated, "Apologies for the typo about GTA V.
