X-Files Creator Wants a Third Movie...With Simon Pegg Aug 27th 2013, 08:07, by Lucy O'Brien It's been almost a year since aliens were due to invade the X-Files universe, but creator Chris Carter still wants to make a third X-Files movie...and he wants Simon Pegg to guest star in it. Talking to Empire, Carter noted the decision was in the hands of 20th Century Fox, but enthused that "all of us are interested in putting the band back together." "The colonization date (which was December 22 2012 in the series) has passed, and that is something we wouldn't ignore," he explained.
