Dexter: "Are We There Yet?" Review

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow...

(First off, all those with concerns about why Cassie lived right next door to Dexter when she was introduced as "Cassie from 4B" can rest. Sort of. Her door now says "8B." Still, it's a slip up.)

Despite a few moments of "wackity schmackity" forced comedy, "Are We There Yet?" spun the final season around with a pullstring, giving us, in my opinion our first clear(er) glimpse of what the final endgame might be. This final season has struggled a bit to find its footing after Deb managed to turn a hard corner, therapy-wise, which then took away most of the captivating Dexter/Deb tension. It didn't want to do a "Big Bad," but it was also struggling without one in a way that last season didn't.
