Clint Eastwood May Direct American Sniper Aug 21st 2013, 05:57, by Jim Vejvoda Rumor has it Warner Bros. has found their replacement to direct American Sniper after Steven Spielberg dropped out. Twitch claims that Oscar winner Clint Eastwood "has gotten the nod to take over the directing assignment." They add that Bradley Cooper is likely still aboard to star as the late Chris Kyle, the titular Navy SEAL sniper and author of the memoir upon which the movie will be based.
