Terence Stamp found working on Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace "boring" and didn't really rate George Lucas as a director.
Speaking in the latest issue of Empire (via Den of Geek), Stamp discussed his involvement with the very first of the Star Wars prequels. Speaking of his relationship with Lucas, Stamp said, "We didn't get on at all. I didn't feel he was a director of actors, he was more interested in stuff and effects."
