IPTL Contender Group B: ROOT Gaming vs compLexity Gaming Jan 25th 2013, 02:42 ROOT Gaming (1-1, 8-9) vs. compLexity Gaming (2-0, 10-5) This would be a matchup of equally talented rosters. Both with respective heavy hitters, snipers, and aces on both sides. There were unique twists, like coL.Minigun's transfer to ROOT, preceding the broadcast, and plenty of friendship between the two close teams (re: observer chat). Despite the camaraderie, the set still needed to be played. Cloud Kingdom -- Game one coL.TriMaster vs. ROOT.TT1 The first match pitted TriMaster and TT1. For TriMaster, his versatility and experience made him an ideal starter for compLexity, while ROOT countered with TT1's adaptability with Protoss. The game started with a great push by TriMaster that could have ended it early, but staunch defense by TT1 staved off the end. It would end up being a small delay as TT1's timing counter push was completely overwhelmed by the TriMaster's perfect army composition of marines and marauders with concussion shells.
