iOS 6.1 Adds Movie Ticket Purchases via Siri, Available Now Jan 28th 2013, 19:31 After releasing a minor bug-squashing update in December, Apple has released iOS 6.1, which adds movie ticket purchasing capabilities to Siri, as well as expanded LTE carrier support and other significant changes. Available now as an over-the-air update for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod users, iOS 6.1 allows Siri users to purchase movie tickets directly through the voice-assistant software via Fandango. Currently, the feature is limited to iOS users in the United States, though it's possible it could be extended to other regions and services in the future.
