Giamatti Cast as Rhino in Spidey 2 Jan 28th 2013, 21:05 Actor Paul Giamatti (John Adams, Cosmopolis) is reportedly in talks to play the villainous Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In the comics, Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich is a Russian mafioso who undergoes an experiment to have special armor permanently bonded to his body, giving him enhanced speed and strength. He then operates as an agent-for-hire for spies and the like. He's sometimes depicted as a sympathetic figure who engages in criminal activity to support his loved ones back in Russia. The Hollywood Reporter also claims that British actress Felicity Jones (Like Crazy, Hysteria) is up for an unspecified role in the sequel.
