Say What? Wizard of Oz Medical Drama Incoming Aug 9th 2013, 03:17, by Lucy O'Brien In an unusual piece of TV news, CBS is developing a medical drama based on The Wizard of Oz. 'Dorothy' has been described by the network as  "a medical soap based in New York City, inspired by the characters and themes immortalized in The Wizard of Oz." According to Deadline, the show will be executively produced by Elementary producers Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman and The Ghost Whisperer's Emily Fox, who will also write the script. It's a new take on The Wizard of Oz, that's for sure, but is this taking 'high concept' to outrageous extremes? And more importantly, how do flying monkeys fit into all of this?
