2013 has been a big year for TV comedy weddings. Parks and Recreation, Happy Endings, The Office, How I Met Your Mother (kinda) -- even Community with its marriage/graduation mashup -- have all featured a wedding at some point or another this season. And tonight, it was New GIrl's turn for matrimony with the doomed-from-the-start ceremony between Cece and Shivrang.
Of course, the big conflict in this week's finale wasn't centered on the bride and groom, but rather -- who else? -- Nick and Jess. Since Jess's father Bob (Rob Reiner) had come to town, things had been rocky for our quirky couple. But Cece's wedding was a chance for Nick to prove that he could be a decent human being (at least for a day) and not stir up any trouble.
