Wilfred: "Sincerity" Review

It's actually kind of surprising that Wilfred hadn't already addressed the widespread phenomenon of the infamous "dog weirdo"; owners who dress their pups in cutesy little dog outfits, talk in baby talk, and even harness their pooch with the dreaded duckbill muzzle. These are all foreign concepts to Ryan, of course, who literally treats Wilfred like an equal. However, that all changed in this week's "Sincerity," as Ryan ran into his old high school crush Kim (Jenny Mollen), who happened to be a dog trainer and -- you guessed it -- a certified dog weirdo.

Much like episodes past, the real strength of this episode came in the form of a push and pull between Ryan and Wilfred, starting with Ryan's urge to impress Kim by enrolling Wilfred in her training course. And it wasn't long before Wilfred threw a wrench in the works by trying to get Jenna to take him instead. Luckily, Ryan saw his opportunity to swoop in at the best possible moment, as Wilfred dragged Jenna's trash through the yard, swinging around a used tampon and declaring "Yeah! Feminine hygiene products are the s***!"
