Europa Report is all about humanity's first manned trip to Europa, Jupiter's fourth moon. We've long suspected there's life under the surface and now a team is sent off to potentially make a huge discovery. It's an awesome concept and being presented in found footage successfully makes you part of the cosmic trip for the most part. Unfortunately, it's a journey bogged down by some painfully slow pacing.

When it comes to the cast, I have no major complaints. At roughly a half-hour in, each is given a spotlight so we can finally differentiate them and from there, each does a more than able job with their script and has at least one opportunity to shine.  As expected, I was excited to see more from Sharlto Copley (who wouldn't be after District 9?), and, while his role isn't as extensive as I hoped, he has one key moment that really shows off his acting chops. Sadly though, they were unable to work "fooking Prawns" into the script. Go figure.
