By stealing and almost murdering some of Wolverine's students, the Hellfire Club have finally gotten under his skin. This certainly has dramatic resonance for Wolverine and his staff, but perhaps a shade too much. This series has been known for being gleefully sporadic, so this darker chapter has much longer spans between moments of fun and hijinks. Jason Aaron still manages to provide an engaging issue, so in the end it does manage to please.
