Principal photography has commenced on Transformers 4, Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday. Michael Bay once again directs but with a new cast that includes Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Li Bingbing, Sophia Myles, and Jack Reynor.
Comic-actor T.J. Miller (Yogi Bear, Cloverfield) has also joined the cast as "Walhberg's best friend, a fellow mechanic," according to THR.
Meanwhile, Yahoo! Movies has posted the first look at two cars being featured as unspecified Autobots in the movie: a 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse (valued at over $2 million) and a C7 Corvette Stingray, based on Chevrolet's upcoming 2014 production car. Both cars were photographed on the film's Monument Valley, Utah set.
