Doctor Who Star Joins Guardians of the Galaxy Jun 1st 2013, 00:39 Hot on the heels of the news that Glenn Close has joined the cast of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, THR is reporting that former Doctor Who star, Karen Gillan, has also boarded the project.  Director James Gunn is filling out the cast as they gear up for the start of production in the UK in late June.
