Nikita: "Self-Destruct" Review

Nikita followed up last week's awesomeness with a sometimes compelling but sometimes kinda dull episode where the pieces on the writers' game board were moved into position as we lead up to the season (please not series, please not series) finale. There was some great character stuff, but in the grand scheme of things, not a lot happened.

The main focus was Alex's inevitable bad reaction to Sean's death and Nikita's attempt to bring her back into the fold. I loved the misdirect where Alex appeared to be sliding back into drugs when instead she went all Charles Bronson on a bunch of human trafficker scumbags. Later, she was shown literally and figuratively trying to treat her own wounds and it wasn't working out to well. Drowning in survivor's guilt, she needed her mentor, Nikita.
