C2E2: X-Factor Ending with Issue #262 Apr 28th 2013, 17:45 Though recent Marvel solicitations have teased a story promoting the end of X-Factor, we've now got confirmation that those teases are more than just a storyline. Announced at the X-Men panel at C2E2, Marvel revealed that the long saga of Madrox and friends would be coming to an end with September's issue #262. Peter David has been building the world of X-Factor for over twenty years, so he'll be leaving behind one of the most beloved and consistently enjoyable -- if sometimes woefully underappreciated -- comic book runs of all time.
