DAY THREE
The sharp-eyed and expectant among you will have noticed that there was no Day Two update to this review in progress, primarily because I couldn't actually play. Like most of the gaming population, my relationship with Rockstar's servers since GTA Online's launch has not been amicable. The general wisdom at the moment is that your chances of successfully getting into a session are vastly increased once you're past the bottleneck of the tutorial missions, which are currently glitch-ridden and hugely oversubscribed. Many people have had to go through the whole character creation process multiple times before eventually getting through it. Other bugs, meanwhile, are still causing moderate to severe problems: characters inexplicably changing their appearance, clothes, gender and (most importantly) their shoes, or disappearing altogether; cash disappearing from player accounts; or just straight-up visual craziness.
