Windows 8 Holds Less Than 2.3% of OS Market Feb 1st 2013, 20:26 Last week, Microsoft announced sales of over 60 million Windows 8 licenses since launch. While the figure seemed reassuring for adoption of the new OS, one web analysis firm is showing low numbers for overall Windows 8 desktop usage. As noted by SlashGear, analytics portal NetMarketShare has Windows 8 only accounting for 2.26-percent of the OS market as of January.
