New Hannibal Image Looks Positively Gothic Feb 14th 2013, 01:31 Principle photography for NBC's spinoff TV series Hannibal is currently underway, and today the network revealed new key art featuring the man himself, Hannibal Lecter (played by Casino Royale's Mads Mikkelsen). Check it out (via JoBlo): Developed by Bryan Fuller, Hannibal offers a contemporary take on the classic characters from Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon. FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Hannibal Lecter will be re-introduced at the genesis of their budding relationship. Graham, who is on the search for a dangerous serial killer, enlists the help of Dr. Lecter, a brilliant psychiatric mind, with no clue of the doctor's darker side.
