NBC Cancels Do No Harm

No shocker here, as NBC has pulled the Jekyll and Hyde-inspired Do No Harm from the schedule after just two airings. Even on a network with vastly diminished ratings expectations these days, Do No Harm was a huge disaster, debuting with a pitiful 0.9 and 3.12 million viewers last week and then falling to a 0.7/2 and 2.21 million viewers in its second week - numbers no broadcast network but the CW ever really ventures into. Not only was this notably lower than other recent failed TV series in the Thursday night, 10pm timeslot for NBC like Awake and Prime Suspect, but it even was averaging lower than the very low-rated news program Rock Center with Brian Williams did in that timeslot, which at least could be said to cost far less.
