Classic Sega Consoles Reinvented as Gaming Laptops

Sometimes the Japanese get all the cool stuff: while it's not a new console, Sega is releasing a selection of limited-edition branded high-spec laptops. Users will be able to select customizable and changeable skins that mimic the Sega MegaDrive (known as the Genesis in the US), the Saturn and the Dreamcast, as well as a nice branded Sega blue.

A collaboration between Sega and Japanese retailer Ebten, the laptops aren't just a vanity ploy -- they actually have some pretty decent specs under the hood. Sega is offering four separate models, each with a 15 inch 1080p display and a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 processor. There's plenty of extra Sega-related features on the software end, too, as Sega has promised a detailed sega Windows theme, with wallpapers, icons and music from plenty of popular Sega releases.
