Superman vs. Godzilla? Jan 7th 2013, 23:50 With Legendary's reboot of Godzilla gearing up for a March start, the casting of its lead role is now under way. And, no, we don't mean for the title role. Hot on the heels of the news that Joseph Gordon-Levitt passed on playing the human lead in Godzilla comes word of other actors in contention for the part. Variety's Justin Kroll tweets that Man of Steel's Henry Cavill, Scoot McNairy (Argo), and Caleb Landry Jones (Banshee in X-Men: First Class) are all in the running.
