SNL Parodies The Hobbit Jan 20th 2013, 15:42 Many eyebrows were raised when Peter Jackson decided to turn the relatively short novel, The Hobbit, into first two and then three movies. This weekend, Saturday Night Live looked at what might be the results if Jackson decided to go even further and turn it into a 19-part series. Look for SNL guest host Jennifer Lawrence as the Galadriel inspired "Elf Queen" and a particularly blunt joke about Jackson's controversial decision to shoot in 48fps (it's safe to say SNL's writers were not a fan of the look). And mark your calendars for movies like The Hobbit 4: Apple Maps: An Unexpected Detour!
