Fringe: "Liberty" Review

It's the beginning of the end, and Fringe started its final Friday with an episode that showcased just how good this show can be when it's at the top of its game.

Right from the start, the episode was full of win because Broyles is back! In short order, he's using that tall, dark charm to get information out of a Loyalist. When accused of being The Dove, he smoothly replies, "I'm more of a raven, don't you think?" Perfect line, delivered perfectly. Lance Reddick better get a whole lot more work after this show.

The scene shifts to Windmark sitting down with Michael to do his usual interrogation thing, but the results are from usual. This time, it's Windmark who suffers physical damage. The poor old cueball ends up causing more damage to himself than Michael. It's an excellent turning of the tables that solidifies just how much of a threat Michael poses to the Observer invasion plan.
