And now we come to the end of another Venture Bros season. Unless scientists hurry up and deliver those life-extending nanobots they're always going on about, this may be the last new episode most people reading this will ever see. And that's assuming society doesn't collapse due to global warming or zombie outbreaks before Season 6 becomes a reality.
"The Devil's Grip" wasn't the biggest or most earth-shattering season finale the show has delivered. Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick made the decision to start off the season with a double-length episode rather than finish it with one as they did in Season 4. But the smaller approach worked in the context of what they were trying to accomplish here. If not quite as memorable as the Season 5 premiere, "The Devil's Grip" was at least an entertaining way to cap off Team Venture festivities.
