Avengers 2: No Hank Pym, New Ultron Origin Jul 22nd 2013, 07:55 The Avengers writer-director Joss Whedon said Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con that superhero-scientist Hank Pym (aka Ant-Man/Giant Man) won't be in his sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. And since Pym won't be in the film, Whedon revealed that Ultron -- the villainous robot created by Pym in the comics -- will have a different origin story in the big screen version.
