This issue has someone fighting with a lightsaber! That's par for the course in any other Star Wars comic book, but Brian Wood has been holding back the good stuff so that when we do finally see it, it's special and awesome -- just like in the original trilogy. This restraint has allowed him to craft a deep and contemplative story that makes the action scenes a high intensity affair because he's created such investment in the characters. I will admit that the characters were starting to lose their recognizable traits for a moment, but this issue snaps them back into place in spectacular fashion.
