A new app called DekkoScan could take a lot of the legwork out of building objects in Minecraft. Earlier this week, the app's developer took to Reddit to spread the word about the upcoming iOS software, which allows you to create 3D renders of real-life objects using your iPhone or iPad's camera and other inertial sensors. Based on technology used in the company's previously released augmented reality game, Tabletop Speed, DekkoScan uses pixel displacement techniques and other processes to detect a subject and create a detailed model as you move around it.
