Norwegian Town Uses Giant Mirrors to Escape the Darkness Jul 23rd 2013, 22:20 Remember that scene in the movie Legend, where Tom Cruise uses mirrors to blast sunlight at Tim Curry? Yeah, well, there's a town in Norway doing something similar to escape the five months of darkness enveloping the town every year. As reported by Popular Mechanics, the village of Rjukan has installed giant mirrors on a mountain which can illuminate one portion of the town square.
