HMV will begin to accept gift vouchers from tomorrow, according to Deloitte (the company's administrators).
This decision comes after widespread consumer outrage, especially since the decision was taken so soon after the Christmas period. It even resulted in one Irish grandfather Eric Nolan taking the matter into his own hands, walking out of a HMV store in Dublin with three games for his grandchildren to whom he gave gift voucher for Christmas.

Last night British high street retailer HMV announced that it was entering administration with financial services firm Deloitte being appointed as the administrator. The company has ceased trading its shares on the London Stock Exchange. And while shops will remain open for the near future, they will no longer accept gift vouchers.
