Fringe: Series Finale Review

It's over. Fringe's five-year odyssey is complete. The series that strove to redefine what sci-fi could be on network television has ended, and there will be much debate on whether Fringe fell short of accomplishing of its goal. But one thing is certain -- this show was always ambitious, and it always tried to mean something. Regardless of whether you loved, hated, or didn't care much about this finale, if you've followed this show for five seasons, through winding plots and ever-present threats of cancellation, you probably feel something significant now that the show is gone. It might be frustration, it may be sadness, it may be contentment, but it's something. Fringe may have its failings, but lack of impact certainly isn't one of them.
