TMNT returned this week with a peculiar but nevertheless interesting character arc for Raphael, who as it turns out has a paralyzing fear of cockroaches. And believe it or not, that was pretty much the entire premise of this week's "Cockroach Terminator," as Donatello's "Spyroach" took a dip in some Kraang mutagen, taking our heroes down an unexpected path.
Story-wise, there wasn't a whole lot to mine froms, especially anything we haven't seen before. I like a good old fashion mutant episode as much as the next guy, but after coming off of such an intriguing development with the Kraang last week, it was kind of frustrating how much time was spent on just another freak of the week (and a relatively oddball one at that). Luckily, there were still plenty of amusing Turtle antics to keep things fun.
