After the release of Vine, there were little clues as to what Twitter would do next in the standalone app world, until now. CNET claims that Twitter has acquired music service We Are Hunted and will use the technology to create its first standalone music app, Twitter Music. A timeline is also in place, according to the publication: Twitter Music could be out for iOS as early as the end of this month. No confirmation from any party was obtained on either the acquisition or the project, but the publication produces pretty compelling evidence that the company will dip its toe into the music scene soon.
